The launch was officiated by Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau’s (MyCEB) acting chief executive officer, Tan Mei Phing (seventh from right), with YAM Tengku Datin Paduka Zatashah binti Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Al-Haj, daughter of the Sultan of Selangor, (left of Tan) and the CEO of the National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (FINAS), Dato’ Azmir Saifuddin Mutalib among the dignitaries present alongside supportive industry leaders and players.
The ceremony was made all the more special with an exclusive performance by Malaysia’s legendary Queen of Jazz, Sheila Majid, who serenaded the guests with her evergreen hits.
PETALING JAYA, 27 April 2025 – Idea Live Arena, Malaysia’s largest indoor arena within a shopping mall and the nation’s second largest overall, officially opened its doors at 3 Damansara here today.
