Qiqi’s Cosplay Medics Successfully Hosts Third”Con-Crunch: Cosplay Repair Party” at Hua Xin Dessert

Petaling Jaya, Malaysia – Qiqi’s Cosplay Medics has successfully held their third “Con-Crunch:Cosplay Repair Party” at Hua Xin Dessert, New Ocean World Fine Food City, Petaling Jaya, on December 13-14, 2025. With a turnout of over 40 people, Con-Crunch brought togethercosplayers, propmakers, and crafters for a two-day celebration of creativity and community.Day One: Armor Workshop and Intensive CraftingThe first day of Con-Crunch began with the “Armour Workshop: Defense +10” led by Jun & Riceof Team Petai. Participants, ranging from beginners to experienced crafters, created their ownarmor pieces from EVA foam under the guidance of veteran instructors. Meanwhile, Qiqi’sCosplay Medics worked tirelessly outside the workshop, assisting fellow cosplayers andpropmakers rushing to complete their costumes before the next major Anime, Comics, and Games (ACG) convention. Heat guns, hot glue guns, dremels, and towering rolls of EVA foamfilled the bustling space.Day Two: Wig Workshop and Birthday Celebrations.

The second day saw an even livelier crowd, with bigger props and toolboxes arriving alongsidethe increased turnout. A highlight of the day was the “Wig Workshop: So You Wanna Wig?”presented by Mikoshii of Team Petai. Workshop attendees enjoyed a live demonstration of wig styling techniques up close, followed by a hands-on session with personal guidance from Mikoshii. The evening concluded with Qiqi bringing out a birthday cake to celebrate all participants born in December.Cosplay Repair ServicesThroughout the event, several cosplayers requested repair services from Qiqi’s Cosplay Medics,who once again saved the day with their expert skills. The first repair was a helmet for Billy Kidfrom Zenless Zone Zero, which cosplay medic Iori fixed using his skills with epoxy glue. Nextwas a wig for Mira from K-Pop Demon Hunters; the wig was damaged during shipping.Fortunately, cosplay medic BlackKri restyled it back to its original state, with assistance fromcosplay medics Iori, BlackFire, and Qiqi. Last but not least, the biggest repair of all was a swordfor Augusta from Wuthering Waves. Cosplay medic BlackFire worked diligently to attach the twohalves of the acrylic sword back together again.Venue Promotions and DiningWorkshop participants who registered before November 25 enjoyed a RM10 cash voucher forparticipating restaurants, as well as a 30% discount voucher for Hue Cafe’s Tasty Munch seriesand bingsu.Additionally, all guests attending Con-Crunch enjoyed various promotions from New OceanWorld Fine Food City, truly emphasizing the “crunch” in Con-Crunch. These promotionsincluded the Dining Madness 50% discount promotion, Instagram Photo Contest, and Spend &Win Event.

Cosplayers ordered dozens of plates from Ru Xuan Seafood Claypot Porridge, TheGolden Time Wonton Noodles, Hua Xin Dessert, and Raku Matcha, with many enjoyingextended meals throughout the event.
